Curriculum Aims

The Religious Studies curriculum is designed to support the holistic development of every child by focusing on three key pillars:

• Foundational Knowledge: Understanding the core teachings of Islam and Islamic ways of life.
• Community & Unity: Promoting harmony, mutual respect, and a sense of fraternity within the school and broader community.
• Ethics & Society: Exploring the essential relationships between religion, social responsibility, and moral growth.

• Inclusive & Multicultural Learning: Cultivating deep respect for different religions and cultures, ensuring all students learn to thrive in a diverse, globalized world.
• Catering for Learning Diversity: Utilizing differentiated learning strategies, varied instructional materials, and multi-sensory teaching approaches to accommodate different learning styles, abilities, and language backgrounds, ensuring every student can engage with the curriculum at their own pace.

Co-Curricular & Enrichment Activities

We believe learning extends beyond the classroom. Our department organizes key events throughout the academic year to deepen cultural understanding and spiritual connection:

• Internal Qur’an Recitation Competition: Encouraging students to develop their recitation skills, fluency, and appreciation of the Holy Qur'an in a supportive and motivating environment.
• Eid Celebrations: Festive school gatherings where students, teachers, and staff come together to celebrate Islamic traditions, fostering community spirit, gratitude, and joy. Our annual celebrations also feature special targeted community events, such as our dedicated Women's Eid Gathering, providing inclusive spaces to strengthen family and community bond.
