Aims

The Putonghua Curriculum aims at:

• developing an interest in learning Putonghua and cultivating positive attitudes and habits
• building up abilities in listening, speaking and recitation
• cultivating students’ self-learning abilities
• enhancing the understanding of Chinese culture

Overview

We provide:

• Catering for learning diversities: design different curriculums to cater for learning diversity of Chinese (CS) and Non-Chinese Speaking Students (NCS)
  CS Curriculum covers a wider range of topics, including culture cultivation and more advance language points.
  NCS Curriculum mainly focuses on pinyin rules and basic language points.
• Competitions: arrange external competitions to broaden students’ horizons
• Activities: organize games and activities to encourage students to speak Putonghua
