"Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) policy has been launched in our School since 18/19 for allowing students to bring their own mobile computer devices to schools for learning activities, so as to enhance students' ability in self-directed learning, problem-solving and collaboration. Learning has also become more personalized and mobile. Now, the Policy has been extending to all levels.

 

There are many advantages of allowing students to bring their own mobile computer devices for learning in schools: 

• Learning time is saved as there is no need to arrange distribution of mobile devices to students.
• Students can conveniently use their own mobile devices for self-directed learning as well as collaborative learning with their peers both inside and outside the classroom.
• Students are more familiar with their own devices and can use the devices effectively for learning.
• Teachers can understand students' overall learning progress more easily.
